Our Balcony and the Unlikely Neighbor

We thought we'd give our families a better idea of what we see every day here in Arkansas. Here are some views from our balcony. Troy had the right idea with choosing the 2nd floor. No noise overhead and more privacy on the balcony. Today is a perfect day. 85 degrees and sunny, puffy clouds, light breeze; ideal for lounging with the laptop on the balcony.

We're in the back of the neighborhood where there are also new construction homes available to rent for the small price of just $1700/month. This is a perfect area because it's quiet and we feel like we're on a normal neighborhood street. The golf course is on the back side of our building. We don't look out onto it, but there's a sidewalk that runs along the side of the course that's nice for walking Polski... all 10 feet of pathway that he'll tolerate walking.

Polski likes the balcony. He's all bark, no bite which makes harrassing neighbors from afar a favorite pasttime.

Additionally, we met our neighbor yesterday. In all of Arkansas we managed to choose the one apartment immediately adjacent to an Ohio State graduate. What a loser.

Kidding...

No I'm not. :)

The lame school choice aside, she seems very nice. She just bought a 1.5 pound Yorkie, so we're going to try to force Polski to make friends for the summer then kick her little 1.5-pound butt when football season rolls around.

Look left: The single street of rentable houses at the back of our neighborhood.

Look Ahead

Look Right: Parking lot, but privacy from above.

So, that's it. Enjoy pics of the balcony.

Love, Us
